Give Your Home a Stylish Look Before New Year

Stylish Home

When it comes to decorate your house these holidays, sometimes it’s less about doing the same old thing and more about doing something different and unique. If you want to create a stylish and lavish home decor for the New Year, there are a few different elements to include that are going to make your house look and feel very different than every other holiday:

Red Accents. While silver/red is the symbol for festivity, it doesn’t mean you always have to incorporate both colors. Just by adding bold red tones and accents to your living room you can create a warm holiday feeling.

Bring the inside out.  By adding a few miniature pine trees, topiary bushes and fresh garlands inside of your home and adding a few sparse lights to them can make a room feel very inviting and cozy.

Add Apothecary Jars to bare spaces. If you have a table or counter and you aren’t sure what to put on them, add a few different sized apothecary jars along with some lights, colorful hard candies and even cookies to give the space a whole other feel to it.

Bring On The Pinecones! If you happen to have a fireplace with a mantel or window bench seat, you can place pinecones on these stands along with a few white lights to create a warm space that is pleasing to the eyes and inviting.

Adding Color to the White Room. The great thing about white room is that it’s an empty canvas. You can bring in all sorts of colors to change these rooms completely. Try white, sky blue and ice blue blankets and accent pillows with a sky blue lamp and white shade. If you want to go more traditional, bring in reds, greens and gold’s.
